FedEx is currently looking for enthusiastic people to join our team in the role of Express Delivery Driver. In this role, you will have the responsibility of efficient and courteous pickup and delivery of packages and customer orders from the FedEx Office. In addition to this, you will also be responsible for adhering to FedEx's features of service while checking for package conformity. It is important to note that this position involves driving of company vehicles and ensuring that they are serviced and cleaned regularly.
Responsibilities
- Provide courteous and efficient package delivery and pickup service for clients at FedEx Office
- Conduct quality checks on shipments to ensure they meet the requirements of FedEx's service offerings
- Exceptional customer service involves taking the time to understand each customer's needs and preferences, and doing everything in your power to help them achieve their desired outcome. This can include answering questions, providing expert advice and recommendations, and being readily available to assist them in any way possible
- Drive a corporate automobile with caution and responsibility
- Organizing your car can help reduce stress and increase focus on the road ahead
- Alter routes as required based on the information given by a central dispatcher
- It is important to follow all laws and regulations when driving on public roads
Qualifications
- An authentic license to drive and a personal driving record that is without blemish
- Aptitude to lift and convey packages of up to 50 lbs
- Possessing exceptional skills in customer service is crucial for maintaining a positive relationship with customers
- An intense devotion to the finer points
- Capability to work efficiently in a rapid environment
- One's reliability and punctuality are of paramount importance
