Job Summary:

A committed person is needed by our hospital to ensure that outstanding veterinary care is given and excellent customer service offered to both patients and clients in order to keep the operations running smoothly. Duties for this role include assessing animal needs, carrying out diagnostic tests, assisting in surgical procedures, providing health care services, involving in patient nutrition and care among other things, maintaining medical supplies and equipment, supervising at patient check outs and triage points as well as ensuring regular updating of medical records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Additional diagnostic imaging techniques that can be used are x-rays, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and ultrasound scans. These produce the detailed images of internal organs or tissues or bones of animals which help diagnose different animal diseases.
  • In addition to this quality patient care involves vital signs measurements collection of samples administration if drugs/vaccines/medication putting dressing or bandages on wounds etc.
  • Provide support during animal examinations and procedures by gathering required instruments/equipment, taking patients to appropriate examination areas as well as helping with restraining; perform any other tasks assigned.
  • Use your broad knowledge of animal physiology for exceptional pet care.
  • Obtain the prescribed drugs confirmed for the patient.

  • Give the pet owner updates about its status according to the veterinarians advice.
  • Maintaining an adequate supply of equipment parts, such as filters, oil, and other consumables is essential to ensure that your equipment continues to work at optimal levels. It means constantly checking the available stock and timely placing orders for goods to avoid any possible delays which may affect equipments performance.
  • Monitor inventory levels; order materials when necessary; check received items and document them.
  • Keep updated in your field by participating in educational activities and staying informed through professional journals always.
  • Only after they have been groomed do pets get returned back to their owners with the approval of hygiene matters.
  • Demonstrate ability to follow and fulfill oral as well as written directions.
  • Any other tasks assigned by Manager or practice head should be done accordingly.

Cardiology:

  • Obtain clinical samples from patients safely for testing purposes

Imaging:

  • Collaborate with veterinarians as they employ diverse imaging methods, including digital radiography, MRI, ultrasound, CT scans, etc., to diagnose animal illnesses.

Integrative:

  • A detailed record of pet diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up results can be an invaluable tool for assessing the effectiveness of holistic therapies.

Internal Medicine:

  • Preventive medicine also involves identifying and addressing risk factors such as smoking, obesity, and sedentary lifestyles to reduce the incidence of diseases such as heart disease, diabetes, and cancer.

Neurology:

  • Various technical procedures are performed, including assisting with anesthesia and monitoring, placing IV catheters, conducting venipuncture, administering IV injections, managing wounds, providing drug administration assistance, taking care of bandages, providing support during surgical procedures, and conducting routine Electromyography (EMG) testing.

Oncology:

  • Assist veterinarian professionals in assessing animal pets, undertaking diagnostic evaluations, administering treatments, and implementing various medical procedures and protocols.
  • Ensuring the comfort and peace of mind of pet parents is also a vital part of our services, and we provide updates and information on the pets progress throughout their hospitalization.
  • Dispensing a variety of chemotherapeutics for cancer management.
  • Expand the owners knowledge on a range of oncological ailments and provide in-depth instruction on them.

Ophthalmology:

  • Aid in ocular assessments alongside veterinarians.
  • Provide assistance for diagnostic examinations, which may involve Schirmer Tear Testing, Tonometry, Ocular Ultrasounds, Electroretinogram testing, and so on.

Radiology:

  • Provide necessary resources and support for veterinary teams to efficiently and accurately deliver imaging services to pets.

Surgery:

  • Deliver comprehensive surgical support by getting animals ready for surgery, sterilizing the surgical site, cutting hair, serving as a surgical assistant, and working with specific surgical tools and resources.

Qualifications:
