Responsible for coordinating the activities of Operations and oversees the Operations Planners to effect daily on-time performance.What you ll doSupervises the Operational Planners who perform gate assignments, IRROP planning and coordination with local departments to achieve on-time performance for the stationOversees the activities of AA employees who perform the movement of aircraftChairs daily shift briefings and prepares daily station tour reportsMonitors station arrival/departure dependability performance analyzing trendsInvestigates and resolves all operational irregularities to ensure compliance to AA operating proceduresCodes Station delaysCommunicates with all local operating departments as well as IOC, MOC, AA central loads and outside agencies pertaining to AA operational schedulePerforms other duties as requestedAll you ll need for successMinimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience Bachelor s Degree in Business Management field or equivalent experience/trainingOperations Control Center experienceSubstantial experience in Sabre/DECSPreferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job ExperienceN/ASkills, Licenses & Certifications Knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.Ability to handle multiple concurrent assignments/projectsSkills in excellent leadership and teamwork with proven ability to work effectively in a variety of situationsAbility to be self driven, highly motivated, creative and results-orientedAbility to work well under pressureWhat you ll getFeel free to take advantage of all that American Airlines has to offer:
