They collaborate, ideate and refine products construction, fit and materials. They maintain a keen understanding of consumer and market trends. They skillfully operate at the intersection of buyer needs, technical feasibility and business objectives. And they work lockstep with Merchandising, Design, Manufacturing and others to produce the final result: products that reflect the soul of sport and inspire athletes to reach new levels of performance.


Job Responsibilities:


In this role, you will obsess about the fit and quality of Nike bras, delivering to design intent and budget within the seasonal launch timeline. You will translate 2D sketches into functional, wearable garments, crafting and maintaining technical packages for assigned styles, ensuring all appropriate development documentation is kept current of development status. You will track and facilitate prototyping, assessing garment samples for accurate fit and specification standards, solving for potential challenges accordingly to deliver proven and tested product in bulk production. You will lead technical fit sessions with cross functional teams, recommending solutions in real time.


Job Requirements/Qualifications:



  • Bachelor s degree in Apparel Design, Pattern Making, Textile Science or relevant combination of education, experience and training

  • Ability to work independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations

  • Proficiency with MS Office programs

  • Ability to interpret design intent and offer alternative solutions

  • Demonstrated skills in problem solving and innovative solutions

  • 2+ years experience within the Bra industry

  • Ability to write product specs and advanced construction instructions

  • Ability to travel 10-20% including International travel

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to explain difficult concepts and influence others to adopt a different point of view

  • Ability to use Adobe Illustrator and CAD Pattern Design software (Optitex/Browzwear/CLO) highly desired

  • Ability to manage a high workload and multiple projects

  • Ability to work with vendors to ensure and improve manufacturability
