Denials & AR Analyst

Overview:

R1 relies on Denials and AR Analysts I to analyze claims information and draft appeal letters to help clients resolve difficult accounts. To excel in this role, you should be comfortable working in a metrics-driven environment and possess excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Individuals with prior experience with prior denials or AR in hospital or physician claims and in a production-based environment are ideal for this opportunity. Our team will provide you with advanced technological tools and comprehensive training in a diverse range of skills that will enable you to thrive in your new position. Furthermore, the job requires proficiency in writing appeal letters to insurance companies.

Analyzing and Resolving Problems: An essential aspect of Denials & AR is the job affords you the opportunity to develop your problem-solving skills. You will come across multiple challenges while handling claims and denied payments. As a result, you will learn how to think critically and resolve the issues in the most efficient manner

The primary duty of your position will involve examining allegations with diligence to identify the reasons for their rejection and composing appeals that can address the underlying concerns. You should be prepared to establish contact with healthcare providers to acquire updates on claims that have been submitted, appeals that have been filed, and payments for claims that are in progress.

With your keen eye for detail, you will be responsible for accurately computing the expected claim reimbursement and documenting any updates conveyed through email or phone from insurance companies.

The remuneration for this role in the United States varies depending on various criteria, such as location, skills, experience, and education or training, with a range of $15.66 to $23.45.
