The Project Management Analyst is responsible for on-time delivery of project milestones, keeping stakeholders informed on progress and negotiating change requests when milestones are in jeopardy. To be successful, this means the PM Analyst will need to ensure all project team members (tech, operations, business units, etc.) remain on task and on time. The Project Management Analyst will facilitate and initiate program analysis, review and monitor critical processes and will participate in the creation and review of requirements from the business/user perspective. The role will assist in documentation for internal, vendor, and client deliverables as well as provide feedback and recommendations to assist in solving system and operational issues. The role will also rely on critical thinking skills and policy knowledge to make decisions and provide direction to teams. The role will have direct client contact.


JOB SUMMARY


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Maintain knowledge and documentation of operational and system processes.

  • Perform cost/benefit analyses on potential changes to existing processes.


  • Participate in the administration of project and program contract activities, including preparation for internal and external meetings.


  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to define problems and implement solutions.

  • Create, review, and present program documents, including requirement traceability matrices, business and software specifications, process flows, and test cases.

  • Document complex program and system needs for both technical and non- technical audiences.

  • Assist in the analysis of data and the specification of report packages for internal and external audiences.

  • Works closely with Quality Assurance and Training staff to optimize operational activities.

  • Support the project manager and product owner and stakeholders on project priorities.


Minimum Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of experience (or equivalent combination of work/experience).

  • Project Management/Business Analyst experience


  • Strong presentation and communication skills


  • Knowledge of UAT

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Highly organized

  • Ability to work independently

PAY TRANSPARENCY


Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Additionally, Maximus provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
