If you are passionate about providing exceptional customer service and have great courier skills, FedEx is seeking to appoint individuals as Delivery Associate. In this role, you will have the responsibility of promptly and efficiently picking up and delivering packages and FedEx Office customer orders. Moreover, your role will require regular checking of shipments to ensure conformity with FedEx's features of service. This position involves driving company vehicles with duties of ensuring that they are cleaned and serviced appropriately.

Responsibilities

• Offer courteous and prompt delivery and pickup service of customer orders and packages at FedEx Office
• Verify if the shipments conform to FedEx's service features, and take appropriate action if they don't
• Going above and beyond for customers is often rewarded with repeat business and positive reviews. This might involve offering free samples or discounts, providing personalized recommendations based on their preferences, or being available outside of normal business hours
• Perform safe and responsible driving actions while operating a corporate vehicle
• Frequent cleaning can also help identify any potential maintenance issues early on
• Update the route plan according to the new instructions received from a dispatch center
• Make sure to respect and follow the established traffic rules and regulations

Qualifications

• A genuine driver's license and a driving history that has not witnessed any unlawful driving practices
• Potential to tote and transport parcels up to 50 lbs in weight
• Exceptional customer service skills enable a business to go above and beyond in fulfilling client needs
