Job Description:

Operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to move merchandise within the warehouse:

• Ensuring that incoming shipments match the purchase orders.
• Unpacking transported products and organizing them based on their category or purpose.
• Abiding by the regulations of the company, stocking the shelves and categorizing the products.
• Conducting warehouse tasks with the proficient operation of forklifts and pallet jacks in a safe manner.
• Accomplishing member orders and making necessary preparations for their pickup or dispatch.
• To ensure accurate inventory management, it is critical to conduct routine cycle counts and reconcile any variances discovered.
• Ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse space is necessary to meet company standards and to maintain a secure work environment.

Qualifications:

• Earning a high school diploma or its approved substitute is an important qualification for entering the professional job market.
• It is not a must to have worked in a warehouse or distribution center before, but previous experience would be beneficial.
• Adept at carrying and transferring heavy items, standing for prolonged periods, and functioning in various environmental settings.
• Completing tasks with great precision and attention to detail, while maintaining accuracy.
• Effective at working with others and communicating in a clear and concise manner.
• Following safety procedures is essential to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Candidates must have the availability to work varied shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
