Teaching Positions - Childcare

We are an established, Step-up to Quality star rated center looking to add the following the positions at our center:

• Center Opener: 6:00am to 12:00pm (This could be a 6am to 2pm position with a 30 minute break if needed)


• PT Floater: 6:30 to 10:30 am


• Bus Driver/Floater: 7:15-4:15


• Toddler Lead Teacher: 9:30am to 6pm (with an hour break)

***Duties

• Implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for children in the daycare


• Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow


• Supervise and engage with children during playtime, mealtime, and naptime


• Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff members


• Observe and assess children's development and communicate progress to parents


• Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment


• Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behavior

***Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent


• Previous experience working with children preferably in a daycare or preschool setting


• Meet employment requirements and training as required by Ohio State's License Requirements


• Knowledge of childhood development and age-appropriate activities or willingness to learn


• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff members


• Ability to manage a classroom and maintain a structured learning environment


• Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children


• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)


• Valid Driver's License (Bus Driver Position only)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
