Registration Specialist-Evening & Night Shift

Shift is Monday through Thursday 10:00am-8:30pm

This shift offers a shift differential on top of your base salary!

Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations
- Process patient registrations and ensure accurate demographic information
- Handle patient inquiries, resolve issues, and provide exceptional customer service
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Collaborate with medical staff and other departments to ensure smooth operations

We are looking for an energetic and motivated individual to join our team as a Registration Specialist. As a Registration Specialist, you will be responsible for the registration of new patients, staff, and visitors to ensure accurate data entry and tracking of all patient information. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all patient records are accurately registered into our medical software system.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma.
• Minimum 1 year medical office registration experience preferred
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively while meeting deadlines
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
• Knowledge of medical terminology and ability to perform basic math calculations
• Knowledge of MS Office suite of programs preferred but not required
