Job Description

What is the role?

As a key player under the Supply Chain function, the Inventory Analyst III will be responsible for managing inventory, performing inventory analyses, and controlling day-to-day inventory operations. 

What will the job look like?

You will be responsible for:

• Researching equipment, repair parts, allowances, supply and inventory problems.


• Scheduling and revising shipment plans to ensure efficient distribution of products to satisfy customers.


• Analyzing inventory levels, production speed and product demand to determine reorder levels which will ensure product availability and minimize inventory costs.


• Developing detailed inventory scenarios and identifies trends.


• Leading evaluation of on-site inventories.


• Participating in major studies of procedures and systems.


• Ensuring that systems and processes meet inventory supply requirements.


• Providing work leadership for lower-level employees.

This position will require occasional work on Saturdays throughout the year to complete month end close.

Occasional travel may be required.

Compensation:

• Salary range approximately $66k - $86k, based on your qualifications, experience, and education

Qualifications

What do you need to succeed?

• A bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.


• At least 5 years related experience.


• Experience with billing systems, running reports and analyzing data.


• Extensive knowledge of typical operations in manufacturing organizations and their dependency on the inventory.


• Knowledge of ABC cycle counts and stratification.


• Ability to assist with reviewing inventory guidelines and processes for SOX audit adherence.


• Experience in Freight claim processing and working with carriers.


• Experience in purchasing and entering purchase orders and capital expenditures.


• Knowledge or usage of YMS and TMS systems is preferred


• Must be effective in prioritizing activities and addressing details.


• Strong written and verbal communication skills.


• Proficiency with MS Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
