Job Summary:
Become an IBS Site Parts Specialist Trainee with NAPA's Integrated Business Solutions Division and work with a range of businesses, including airlines and government facilities. With opportunities for growth and hands-on training, this is the perfect role for those looking to thrive in a dynamic work environment.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- By partnering with us for parts management, procurement, and inventory control, our clients can focus on their core business operations, while we take care of their parts management needs.
- Ensure operational efficiency and customer contentment by skillfully leading people and managing procedures.
- Work closely with the IBS Site Manager and team to effectively manage daily, weekly, and monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Show your commitment to customer satisfaction by promptly answering and resolving any inquiries or concerns.
- Assist colleagues in providing effective customer service by helping customers with their queries and finding products at the NAPA counter.
- Optimize your inventory management strategy by using both digital and hard-copy catalog systems.
- Follow the company’s guidelines in safeguarding assets, maintaining products, and enforcing safety protocols.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Being receptive to knowledge and practical experience is crucial.
- My passion lies in providing top-notch customer service, building lasting relationships, and adeptly resolving problems.
- Those with prior experience in the automotive aftermarket, dealerships, parts, light or heavy-duty equipment, or ground support industry will be given preference.
- Skilled in designing and enforcing inventory management, procurement, and cataloging policies that promote cost-effectiveness and quality assurance.
- Effectively managed personnel in the automotive aftermarket service, fleet services, government contracts, or retail sectors, demonstrating strong leadership qualities.
- Businesses that value operational efficiency and customer satisfaction prioritize employees with experience in point-of-sale and fleet management software.
- Possessing a passion for analytical reasoning and a proactive drive to tackle customer problems while simultaneously enhancing processes.
- A high school diploma or GED is a prerequisite for this position while candidates with higher education like technical school or college degrees would be given a preference.
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
