Position: Learning Support Assistant

Location: Southampton

Salary Scale: £12.82 - £13.50 per Hour

Contract Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualised support to students based on their learning needs and abilities.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to assist in lesson delivery and classroom activities.
• Prepare and organize learning materials to enhance lesson effectiveness and student engagement.
• Foster positive relationships with students to support their social and emotional development.
• Implement behavior management strategies in accordance with school policies to maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  
  

Requirements

• Genuine passion for supporting students and promoting their well-being in an educational setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, teachers, and other staff members.
• Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a dynamic school environment and handle varying tasks.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team to ensure student success and overall school objectives.
• Previous experience in a similar role such as experience with SEN are desirable but not essential.
