Nurse Specialist

Job Description

This position is for a registered nurse in Hawaii to coordinate and provide injection training for patients learning to self-administer specialty medications for chronic conditions such as autoimmune disorders and Multiple Sclerosis. This position also requires coordination, education and training for PAH patients- Coverage area is primarily Oahu - Responsible for providing disease state education and training for patients to become independent with administering specialty injectable medications. This education may be done in a physician's office, another medical facility or in the home. - Provide education and training for PAH patients- Help drive the business by assisting the Sales Team as they build our reputation for providing patients with the education, they need to independently administer their medications. - Coordinate with patients and referral sources (e.g., physicians, case managers, etc.) to schedule the patient training.- In addition to patient training visits (as time allows), you will be trained to coordinate nursing for patients to receive specialty medications in the home, prescriber office or outpatient infusion center.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

Minimum: 58,760

Maximum: 125,840

Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.

Required Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current license in state of HI. - Minimum one year nursing experience; IV-related experience a plus - Have and maintain current CPR certification - Possess a valid and current driver s license and auto insurance - Have experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook and Word to document and track patient care activity.- Excellent customer service approach in verbal and written communication.

Preferred Qualifications

• CRNI certification a plus, but not required

Education

RN Diploma, Associates or B.S. degree in nursing
