Cultivation-METRC Specialist - Dynamic Team

The METRC Specialist’s role is to work collaboratively with the inventory department to ensure all locations are operating in compliance with the CRA regulations, and to ensure accuracy within the statewide monitoring system, METRC.

Responsibilities & Job Duties

• Daily Sales Uploads;
  • Monitors sale uploads to state tracking software
  • Responsible for long term tracking of success of sale uploads
  • Responsible for troubleshooting and uploading sales if issues arise that prevent sales location from doing so
• Data entry;
  • Data entry is the main responsibility of this position
  • Daily manifest / invoice inspection & discrepancy resolution
  • Communication of noted errors to Purchasing Manager
• Manifesting of Packages on;
  • Return to sender transfers
  • Adult Use affiliated transfers
  • Manifesting packages to sales locations from pre-generated list provided by Purchasing Department
• Error Correction
  • Deleting duplicate sales transactions
  • Loading missed transactions
  • Investigation of packages on inventory issues sheet
• IT Workshop
  • Looking for process improvements for inventory department & the company as a whole, while working closely with IT department
  • Analyze Data processing procedures to help streamline and automate processes involved.
  • I.T. Support as required
  • Performing role specific training on tools and procedures developed
  • Analyzing company work flows to present new process improvements
  • Reduce effort spent on data management and analysis by using automation or by process optimization
• Works towards preset tasks with minimal oversight
  • Group work as needed
  • No team leading / management
  • Cross training between inventory positions within the department
    • Profile generation
    • Product imports into POS

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, programming or a closely related field preferred, not required.
• Prefer candidates with 1+ years of experience with METRC software or a comparable inventory tracking software

Work Environment

• State & Municipal Law - We operate in full compliance with all rules and regulations enforced by the State of California
• Prolonged periods of walking around and traveling
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk working on a computer
• Must be able to lift at least 15 pounds at a time
• Must be comfortable with using a ladder
