Front Office Team/Receptionist
We re seeking a naturally friendly, energetic and driven individual who is detail oriented, and an excellent communicator. This position is suited for an individual who has strong attention to detail, excellent ability to multitask, has a passion for people and would like to work on a team in a busy, fast paced, successful optometry practice. Duties include: greeting patients, answering phone calls, scheduling, medical records management and insurance verification.
Skills needed are: computer experience, telephone system, basic office machines, and ability to stay calm, multi-task and excellent communication.
Experience with medical reception or insurance is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person.
Mt Baker Vision Clinic is a local optometry practice that has been part of Bellingham since 1951. We pride ourselves in providing excellent vision care for patients and want our staff to reflect that same care for patients and others on the team.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
