Responsibile for handling employee payroll questions via phone, chat, email, etc.What you ll doExplains and interprets complex payroll information to employees at all levels of the organizationUses analytical skills to identify and address potential issuesAssists in specialized processing and assigned projects, requiring more detailed knowledge of payroll procedures.Reviews audit reports for processing errors and request corrections as necessaryResearches employee questions and provide resolution, as dictated by company policyOrganizes and maintains records to enable special processing that reduces the occurrences of incorrect payroll paymentsAssists in special projects and testing of new processing systemsProvides training as neededCommunicates all discrepancies to payroll supervisorAll you ll need for successMinimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience Bachelor s degree in relevant field or equivalent experience/trainingPreferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience3 years of business experienceFamiliarity with accounting principles relating to funds disbursements, payroll tax statutory requirements and payment regulationsFamiliarity with expense reporting and garnishment processingCPP certificationSkills, Licenses & CertificationsAbility to demonstrate above average customer service, communication, and organizational skillsAbility to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines with minimal supervisionAbility to work as a team player in a high stress environmentKnowledge of with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access What you ll getFeel free to take advantage of all that American Airlines has to offer:
