The University of Florida is looking for an emergency veterinarian to join our existing 18 faculty members in ECC (9 emergency veterinarians, 9 criticalists). The UF ECC Service encompasses intensive care, emergency services and hemodialysis/nephrology at our VECCS Level 1 and AAHA certified referral center in Gainesville, Florida as well as our state-of-the-art emergency practice in Ocala, Florida. We have developed a unique model to provide emergency and intensive care services. If you have considered academia before but never made the jump, call us - we love what we do and would be excited to share our experiences with you. A successful applicant would be heavily involved in primary patient care, clinical instruction and supervision of veterinary students. Responsibilities will vary based on experience.
