Providing exemplary customer service is key to the role of the Front End Team Member at FedEx. The responsibility of completing cash and card transactions, processing customer purchases, and maintaining the front-end area is distributed to the team member. Alongside providing assistance in answering customer inquiries and resolving concerns, the team member will ensure that the store runs smoothly by adhering to company procedures and collaborating with other team members. Maintaining high customer service standards, keeping the front area of the store organized ensures an efficient and pleasant shopping experience for customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide a genial and respectful welcome to patrons, ensuring they feel valued and well-cared for
• Accurately process customer purchases to promote efficient shopping experiences
• My role requires me to handle and process cash-based as well as card-based transactions
• Keeping the front end zone immaculate and structured is vital
• Attend to customers’ needs and facilitate resolution of their inquiries
• By collaborating with other team members, store operations can be streamlined for maximum efficiency
• Adhere to established codes of conduct and ethics to promote professionalism and integrity
• Undertake other assignments as required

Qualifications:

• A document that recognizes the achievement of essential educational standards in secondary education or its equivalent
• Preference will be given to those who have prior experience in cashier or customer service positions
• Unmatched capability in delivering personalized solutions to customers
• Strong communication skills
• Demonstrating the aptitude to operate proficiently in a hectic and dynamic workplace
• Attention to detail
• Skill to transport items up to 50 pounds in weight without difficulty
• Openness to work unconventional hours, such as evenings, weekends, and holidays, as per business needs
